RM, V, Jimin, Jin, J-Hope, Jungkook and Suga are expected to smash records after the release of their second album, called "BE," this year. True enough, BTS has added another color to its banner when its latest album made it to the top.

Reports have it that "BE" nabbed the Number 1 spot on Billboard 200 album chart. BTS' latest album garnered a total of 242,000 units less than a week since its release. It also earned, approximately, 48.56 million streams of the tracks included in the album.

This is the fifth album of BTS to be on top spot of the Billboard's album chart. Other albums that ranked first prior to "BE" include "Map of the Soul: 7," "Map of the Soul: Persona," "Love Yourself: Answer," and "Love Yourself: Tear."

ARMYs were quick to respond to the news on Twitter, celebrating the newest milestone of their idols. "congratulations to grammy nominated bts for achieving their 5th number 1 album with BE," one Twitter user said. "Woke up to this and couldn't have been any happier, freaking out about the hot100 though," another fan wrote. "YEEESSSSS!!!!! BTS IS NOT JUST A GROUP BREAKING RECORDS THEY ARE ALREADY LEGENDS," a third netizen penned in the comment section.

"BE is not just an album, it is a cultural reboot, it is the oxygen you breathe, it is a lifestyle, a reason to breathe, an escape to this cruel world, it is art, the first gift you open at Christmas, a hug of a loved one, everything you've always wanted," aliensxist shared. "It's so real, it's only been a week since the album has been released. CONGRATS GUYS DESERVED," miitaekim added.

However, BTS dropped its rank on Billboard's Top 100 artists. RM, V, Jimin, Jin, J-Hope, Jungkook and Suga took the third spot after the release of their "BE" album. During that week, Ariana Grande and Luke Combs dominated the list, taking the first and second places, respectively.

"BLACKPINK: The Album," on the other hand, peaked at Number 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart on Oct. 17, 2020. All songs, however, of the said album made it to the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S.
