BTS Jungkook Shock: Golden Maknae Adored, Trended Again Online For These Reasons
BTS continue to make it to the headlines lately after the release of their second album this year. Jimin, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook, RM and V launched the "BE" album on Nov. 20 and fans could not help but adore them more as their new tracks bring hope and comfort amid the perils brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Recently, BTS performed their trending hit singles "Life Goes On" and "Dynamite" at the 2020 American Music Awards. However, one particular member of the South Korean boyband caught the attention of many. Jungkook became a trending topic on social media, particularly on Twitter, after their performance.
Netizens noticed how Jungkook's pink suit and curly hair fit him well on stage. There were, also, some who praised the golden maknae for his soothing singing voice. Numerous viewers referred him as "the boy in the pink suit."
"whoever the guy in the pink suit his I LOVE HIS HAIR," one Twitter user wrote. "so nobody told me who the bts guy in the pink suit was...don't ignore me," another netizen stated. "can someone tell me who the pink suit and purple pants bts guy is?" a third Twitter user shared. "omfg who is the one in the pink suit I'm SIMPING they're all so gorgeous wow," another user added.
The frenzy did not end there as a Jungkook fan, also, circulated a story of her encounter with the K-Pop idol. The follower claimed she met Jungkook in one event and asked him if he is Jeon Jungkook. The fan expected the "Boy with Luv" singer to simply nod and smile. However, to her surprise, Jungkook told her, "And if I am?"
Several fans shared and reposted the story on Twitter, which led the "AND IF I AM" phrase to trend. It even ranked fourth in the United States trend and took the third spot in the Worldwide trend.
