In an interview, the "Story of My Life" singer gushed over the parenting skills of her ex-ladylove, who reportedly wants the singer to be "in and out" of his son's life. He even thanked Cheryl for being an "amazing" mum to Bear and for showing their son all the love in the world.

"The fact that she agreed to allowing Liam more time away from Bear seemingly shows this - that she feels positive and happy parenting alone," relationship expert Jo Barnett suggested. "It's likely their pact has reassured her that she will be fine having another baby on her own, without the need for a man," she went on.

To recall, Liam Payne has made it clear that Bear was their priority after he and Cheryl Cole broke up in 2018. He even sees to it that he gets to spend time with his bundle of joy during holidays even when he is living with his girlfriend, Maya Henry, already.

Cheryl Cole, for her part, praised Liam Payne for being "a great dad" to their son. "He's so much softer than me. It is what it is, and I'm OK about it," she revealed.
