Song Hye Kyo has remained tightlipped since her shocking divorce from Song Joong Ki in June 2019. The Descendants of the Sun star has, also, stayed away from the limelight as she moves on from her failed marriage.

Recently, it was reported that Song Hye Kyo will be back to the small screens very soon. The 38-year-old South Korean star is rumored to appear as the lead character in the upcoming drama series called Now, We Are Breaking Up, which will center on the life of a fashionista diva who tries to move on after a painful breakup.

However, the United Artists Agency, which the talent management of Song Hye Kyo, made it clear that nothing is set in stone as of yet. The Worlds Within actress is said to be reviewing the offer.

If Song Hye Kyo will accept the project, she will portray the role of Ha Young Eun, who leads a design team at a famous fashion label. The said character is expected to be a cold-hearted realist and a person who ranks safety above everything else. Young Eun is, also, said to be a woman in her late 30s who is profound to trends and has painstaking self-management skills.

Initially, the role was offered to Soo Ae, who decided to quit later on. Yoo Teo was, then, chosen to replace Sweet Stranger and Me star. In the end, the production offered it to Song Hye Kyo, who - by the way - was the original first choice for the role.

Lee Gil Bok, who was at the helm of My Love From The Star, will direct Song Hye Kyo's alleged new project. Misty Fame writer Jae In will, on the other hand, pen the script.

Song Hye Kyo has yet to announce her decision on the project. So, avid followers of Song Joong Ki's ex-wife should take everything lightly until it is proven true and correct.
