Kate Middleton and Prince William are considered the future of the British monarchy. Though the royal pair appears to be #CoupleGoals, they, too, face numerous challenges in their personal and marriage lives. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have, also, become favorite subjects of criticisms in recent years.

New Idea, in its November 16, 2020 issue, claimed that Kate Middleton "collapsed in tears" a few weeks ago due to some ongoing family issues. The entertainment news publication suggested that it was hard for the mom-of-three who has been dealing with a lot of things lately, including the fact that Prince William had to fight against the COVID-19 in April secretly.

Most, if not all, fans can recall that Prince William confessed to having contracted the fatal coronavirus, alongside his father - Prince Charles, earlier this year. Kate Middleton's husband, reportedly, decided to keep his condition in secret so that the public would not worry as the illness was still considered "controversial" at the time. This, according to the magazine, means that Kate had to deal with everything on her own.

"She's been holding it all in, doing the stiff upper lip thing to perfection, but last week it all came to a head," an unidentified insider told the publication. "It's been a tough time for the couple, but everyone tends to worry more about Wills and not so much her. She's exhausted. It's been a hell of a lot," it went on.

However, Kate Middleton has yet to comment on these claims. So, these speculations should be taken lightly until everything is proven true and correct.

Meanwhile, despite all the challenges that she has been through this year, Kate Middleton radiated gratitude and warmth. The Duchess of Cambridge thanked British citizens for participating in her "Hold Still" project, which features snaps and stories of life under the lockdown period. She posted a video of herself on Instagram acknowledging everyone who contributed to her initiative.

"I launched the project with the National Portrait Gallery back in May because I wanted to find a way to allow everyone to share their stories and experiences of lockdown. We have been thrilled by the response to the project and I couldn't be more grateful to each and every one of the 31,000 people who submitted an image," Kate Middleton wrote in the caption. Judges chose a total of 100 photos, out of thousands of entries, to be included in an outdoor nationwide exhibit. Some photographs showed women giving birth and frontliners donning surgical masks and PPEs.
