BTS Are Big Winners at the MTV Europe Music Awards
BTS continues to conquer the world. They have already reached the top of the Billboard charts, and now they became big winners in the recent MTV Europe Music Awards.
The annual ceremony was hosted by Little Mix, minus member Jesy Nelson who could not join due to health reasons. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the awards show was virtual, while the special performances were filled all throughout Europe.
Lady Gaga had the most nominations this year with 7, followed closely by pop singer Justin Bieber and BTS. Both had 5 nominations each, and BTS won 4 of those.
They not only won Best Group for the third year in a row, but also the trophy for Best Virtual Live, Biggest Fans, and Best Song for their first all-English release "Dynamite."
Meanwhile, the seven-member group is set to release a brand new album on November 20, entitled "BE". The lead single for the album will be "Life Goes On." Unfortunately, member Suga would not be able to join the promotions for the album. It was reported last week that he had to go through surgery for his shoulder. His shoulder issues have been going on for years, having injured it in an accident even before debut.
