The Nation's Girl Group, Twice, is back with yet another banger as they dropped a lavish retro music video for "I Can't Stop Me" at 18:00 on October 26, 2020 (KST).

Twice's title track for their second full album, Eyes Wide Open, manifests the retro theme with synth notes, dazzling hooks, and an addictive chorus. It was composed by Melanie Joy Fontana, Michel Lindgren Schulz, and A Wright, and the lyrics were written by Park Jin Young and Shim Eun Ji.

According to an interview, the girls said that the song describes the feeling of "riskiness and uneasiness you get when you cross a line that you shouldn't cross."

The song also highlights the blossoming of Twice's sophisticated vocals.

It shows the confidence of Twice and their strong push towards showcasing the bolder yet elegant side of each member.

The comeback has impressed fans and achieved amazing feats in its first 24 hours.

On its first day, the "I Can't Stop Me" MV surpassed 18,992,750 million views on YouTube with 2.189M likes and trended in 67 countries.

Twice's second album has also surpassed 100,000 copies sold on Hanteo Chart, joining "More and More" as their fastest albums to reach such a milestone.

Moreover, "I Can't Stop Me" tops 17 countries on the iTunes Charts.

JYP's gem is set to break more records as they proceed with their promotions.
