‘Parasite’ Wins Big from Chicago Film Critics Association, Takes Home Four Awards
The South Korean film, "Parasite," has been making the rounds very successfully in the awards circuit. On Dec. 14, the Chicago Film Critics Association (CFCA) announced four major wins for the film.
According to the CFCA, "Parasite" earned the awards for Best Picture, Best Foreign Language Film, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay.
"Parasite" has already gathered great success in U.S. film festivals. They also won the top award at the Cannes Film Festival, Best Film by the L.A. Film Critics Association, and also Best Picture at the Toronto Film Critics Association Awards. Bong received a Golden Globe nod for Best Director.
The Academy Awards, one of the most prestigious awards for film, will be announced on Jan. 13.
