SBS Drops Behind-The-Scenes Photos Of Suzy In 'Vagabond' + Lee Min Ho's Ex In Talks To Star In A New Film
Korean singer-actress Suzy is having a busy year. She stars in the upcoming K-drama Vagabond and another project this year. Additionally, Suzy is reportedly in talks to play a lead role in a new movie that will be helmed by a multi-awarded Korean director.
SBS has released some behind-the-scenes snaps of Suzy for the action drama TV series Vagabond. In the photos, Suzy looks stunning while playing the role of National Intelligence Service secret agent Go Hae Ri.
A couple of photos shows Go Hae Ri arriving in what appears to be a foreign country and driving around the area in an open top jeep. Another photo features the character in her hotel room while reading something on her laptop.
Vagabond tells the story of movie stuntman Cha Dal Gun (Lee Seung Gi) who gets involved in a conspiracy after a plane mysteriously crashed. Over 200 civilians including his nephew were killed in the incident.
Determined to find out the truth behind the tragedy, Dal Gun starts his own investigation that leads him to uncover a huge corruption and conspiracy. His life also intertwines with the life of secret agent Go Hae Ri.
Vagabond was originally set to premiere in May. It was rescheduled to hit the small screen in September.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that Suzy is already in talks for a possible new project. It is a film that will be helmed by Late Autumn director Kim Tae Yong.
Her new agency, SOOP Management, has confirmed that Lee Min Ho's ex-girlfriend has received an offer to star in a lead role in Kim's movie. The agency said Suzy is positively reviewing the offer. So far, no details have been revealed about the movie but apparently, it will begin production in the second half of the year.
Fans of Suzy can also catch the idol-turned actress in the upcoming film Mount Paektu alongside Mr. Sunshine actor Lee Byung Hun. The movie follows the two operatives from North and South Korea who are struggling to prevent the eruption of Mount Baekdu, a volcano that sits in the North Korea-China border.
Lee Byung Hun will play the role of the North Korean agent while Ha Jung Woo will portray the South Korean agent. Suzy takes the role of Ha's character wife.
