EXO member Lay has dropped a music video teaser for his upcoming digital single album titled Honey. The singer has also set a new record in pre-order.

In the teaser clip, Lay is seen arriving home and relaxes in a hot bath. Then a digital bee flies towards Lay before it passes through the glass window and the city goes dark.

The 27-year-old singer earlier released teaser photo for his comeback. In the photo, he is clad in a floral shirt and lavender satin tracksuit paired with a white beret.

Lay's upcoming album, Honey, contains a total of 4 tracks: both English and Chinese versions of the title track "Honey" and the English tracks "Bad" and "Amusement Park." All songs are composed and written by Lay. He earlier promised to fans that all four tracks will show a different side of himself.

The album has reached a new milestone for Lay when it took over China's biggest music streaming service QQ Music. The EP recorded over 1.8 million units sold in just three minutes and 23 seconds. This makes it the EP with the most number of sales in the shortest period of time on the platform.

It also broke all nine sales level of QQ and received the Music's Hall of Fame's Gold Diamond Certification in three minutes. This new record also smashed the record Lay previously set with his album Namanana which received the same recognition in 11 hours.

The pre-order for the new album has already surpassed the two million mark on QQ Music in just the first hour of pre-order. Lay's new EP is set to drop on June 14 at 12 PM KST.

Meanwhile, the EXO member is also set to hold his first solo concert series, titled Grand Line, starting next month. It will kick off in Shanghai, China on July 6 before heading to Nanjing on July 20.

EXO label, SM Entertainment, earlier announced the lineup of SMTOWN Live 2019 in Tokyo, Japan. EXO will participate in the event but without Xiumin, D.O. and Lay. Xiumin has already started with his military service while D.O. has been confirmed for enlistment next month. Lay will be busy with the promotion of his new album Honey.
