BLACKPINK fans got the biggest surprise of their life at the In Your Area concert this week. British singer Dua Lipa joined the K-pop female group and performed for the first time their collaboration song "Kiss and Make Up."

BLINKs couldn't be happier when Dua Lipa appeared at BLACKPINK's concert at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Wednesday. Lipa and the quartet perform "Kiss and Make Up" for their very first time together on stage. Fans who attended the event shared on Twitter some footages of the performance.

Lipa released "Kiss and Make Up" in October 2018 as part of the super deluxe edition of her debut studio album, titled Dua Lipa: Complete Edition. It debuted at No. 93 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it BLACKPINK's second entry on the chart and the seventh for Lipa. It also debuted at No. 36 on the UK Singles Chart, making BLACKPINK as the first Korean female group to reach the Top 40 on the chart.

BLACKPINK's In Your Area concert in Newark was the same night as the 2019 Billboard Music Awards where Lipa has three nominations. Clearly, the singer chose to attend the concert rather than the BBMAs.

The Electricity singer is nominated for Billboard Chart Achievement Award. The award was taken by Ariana Grande. Lipa also got a nod for Top New Artist which but it was won by Juice WRLD. She is also nominated for Top Dance/Electronic Song for her song "One Kiss" with Calvin Harris. Zedd, Maren Morris, and Grey took home the award for their "The Middle."

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK still has another night at the Prudential Center on May 2 before heading to Georgia on May 5 and in Texas on May 8. The group is supposed to end the North America leg of the tour at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Texas on May 9 but the event has been canceled. YG Entertainment has yet to give a reason as to why the concert has been canceled.

The "Kill This Love" singers will continue with the tour on May 18 in Amsterdam. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa have six tour dates in Europe before visiting Macao and Australia in June and Thailand in July.
