Taylor Swift has returned not only in radio waves and streaming platforms but also in breaking records. The music video of the singer's latest song, "ME!," has smashed the 24-view record of Vevo.

The MV of Swift's "ME!" featuring Panic! at the Disco's Brendon Urie was released on midnight ET on April 26 after days of dropping cryptic hints on social media. Vevo announced over the weekend that "ME!" has set a new Vevo record with the highest number of views within 24 hours of release. It garnered more than 65 million views in just one day of release. The MV has 98 million views at of writing.

YouTube has also confirmed that "ME!" achieved 65.2 million views on the streaming platform within the first 24 hours of its release. This makes Swift's MV the most-viewed female and solo 24-hour debut for any music video on YouTube to date.

The 29-year-old singer broke the record that was previously held by Ariana Grande with her "Thank U, Next." The MV of the song has 59 million views in its first 24 hours.

Although Swift achieved a huge feat on YouTube, the record for the biggest premiere on the platform still belongs to BTS. The music video of the K-pop group's latest hit song "Boy With Luv" with American singer Halsey achieved an astonishing record of 74.6 million views on its 24 hours on YouTube. "ME!" is now the second biggest 24-hour debut of any video that has been released on the platform.

Moreover, Amazon also announced that "ME!" broke two more records. It smashed the record for most first-day streams and most on-demand voice requests with Amazon's virtual assistant Alexa than any other single debut on Amazon Music.

All of these clearly show that Swifties worldwide are going crazy over "ME!" for many reasons. For one, it features Taylor Swift speaking in French and unveiling a new pet cat named "Benjamin Button." Fans are also getting themselves busy decoding Easter Eggs that Swift left for them in the MV. The Grammy winner singer also dropped some hints about the title of her upcoming album.

"Me!" is the lead single from Swift's upcoming seventh full-length album. The release date for the album has yet to be announced. The still-untitled album is the follow-up to her bestselling album Reputation in 2017.
