Fans took to social media to expressed their excitement over IU's Persona on Netflix. Many have said that it is about time that IU will also be known across the globe.
"Wow, this should be very intriguing to watch! IU is a very captivating and talented artist, so it should be very interesting to see how the films portray the different sides of her artistry, and how the directors weave their own stories into her personas," a fan commented.

Aside from being a chart-topping singer, IU has proven that she can act really well. She had received several nominations and won top awards for her impressive acting. The most recent was Top Excellence Award for Actress in a Miniseries at the 2018 APAN Star Awards for her role in My Mister.
Meanwhile, aside from Persona, IU fans can also look forward to her upcoming K-drama alongside The Crowned Clown actor Yeo Jin Goo. It has been confirmed that the two will lead star the upcoming tvN fantasy drama Hotel del Luna. The "Bbibbi" hitmaker will play the role of the hotel CEO who is ill-tempered and greedy and has been under a curse because of her misdeed. Hotel del Luna is expected to premiere in August 2019.
