GOT7 member Yugyeom shows professionalism after a fall (literally). Although it seems like he was hurt after he slipped on stage, the K-pop idol apologized to GOT7 fans for the mistake he committed on stage.

GOT7 recently performed for their fans in Toronto, Canada. Yugyeom had his solo stage at the Air Canada Centre where he danced gracefully. But during one of his turns, he slips and falls face first. A loud thud was also heard. The singer looks to be in pain as it took a couple of seconds before he got up and continued with his performance.

"I prepared for a long time, but I made a mistake while dancing. I wanted to show you a perfect stage, so I am very sorry," the idol said to the audience after his performance.

Fans expressed admiration of Yugyeom's gesture, but they are also concerned that the GOT7 main dancer could be hurt but chose to finish his solo stage. What makes them worry is that Yugyeom hit his head on the stage.

"Oh my God I just saw that video of Yugyeom...i hope he's okay and that he was able to get checked for that fall :(," one fan commented on Twitter. Watch Yugyeom's solo stage performance below.

JYP Entertainment responded to iGOT7's concern and assured in a statement that Yugyeom was not injured. The agency added that the GOT7 maknae will still join his bandmates in their next tour stop.

Yugyeom is a born dancer. At a very young age, he showed his skills in the art. He later enrolled in Hamlim Arts High School, majoring in Street Dance. Yugyeon managed to win Mnet's dance survival contest Hit The Stage because of his impressive talent in dancing.

But accidents do happen on stage, especially for K-pop groups that have complex dance choreography. SEVENTEEN member Vernon also recently got injured while performing for the band's Ideal Cut 2018 Concert in Seoul. He joined his bandmates for the rest of their tour dates in the city, but his leg is in a cast.

Meanwhile, JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom are currently on their world tour titled Eyes on You. The boys kicked off the tour in Seoul in May and will visit eight more cities before they wrap it up next month.

The GOT7 members are now in the U.S. for their tour stops in Los Angeles, Houston, and New York. The boys are also set to appear in the morning show Good Day New York while in the U.S. Additionally, the K-pop group will also visit three cities in Latin America before heading back to Asia to perform for their fans in Singapore and Hong Kong.
