Unhappy Customer Bites Off Part Of Chinese Restaurant Owner’s Ear
A woman from Mt. Clemens, Michigan, was charged with assault and intent to maim after she had bitten off part of a man's ear at a Chinese restaurant. This despicable behavior of the angry woman is yet proof that customers are not always right.
It all started when Jade Anderson entered China 1 Restaurant in Mt. Clemens to complain to the owners about an order she had received. Since the owners don’t speak and understand English very well, they asked their 8-year-old son to serve as a translator.
However, instead of dealing with the situation calmly, Anderson allegedly pushed the owners’ young son and threw her food onto the floor. The 24-year-old woman wasn’t done in showing how upset she was as she started to attack the female owner. That’s when the man stepped in to protect his wife.
Unfortunately, as Anderson was pushed out of the store, she managed to do one more horrific act by biting off part the man’s ear. The son then dialed 911 to report the chaos.
“There is a violent woman over here hitting my mom, she also hit me,” he told the 911 dispatcher. When asked who the woman was, he responded, “I don’t know, I’m scared.”
The man was then transported to the hospital, where doctors were able to reattach his ear. His wife, who had a large bump on her head, was treated at the scene for her injuries. Fortunately, the owners’ 4-year-old daughter, who was present at the time, was not hurt.
“I’m beside myself, these are wonderful people,” customer Wesley Anderson told Fox 2 News. “I come in here most every day, they are very generous, they give me cookies, I play with their children. They are both very kind people. This woman needs to get a life.”
Jade Anderson was charged with intent to maim and assault. Her bond was set at $20,000. The unhappy customer is being held at the Macomb County Jail and is expected to return to court July 11 at 1:30 p.m. It was never mentioned what she ordered at the restaurant.
