The wait for the Vikings Season 5 Episode 11 release date announcement might only be a few days away. Katheryn Winnick may have teased at the upcoming return of the beloved TV series on History Channel. Will the premiere date finally be announced at the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con?

Vikings have been a major part of the San Diego Comic-Con for a long time. The show's cast Travis Fimmel, Katheryn Winnick, Clive Standen, Alexander Ludwig, and Gustaf Skarsgård have frequently attended the panel to answer burning questions about Ragnar Lothbrok, Lagertha, Rollo, Bjorn, and Floki. So is there any chance that the returning actors will be announcing the Vikings Season 5 Episode 11 release date later this month? Winnick has hinted at something big happening soon.

Katheryn Winnick recently posted gorgeous fan art featuring her character Lagertha on her official Instagram account. The Polar actress shared an image of the Queen of Kattegat on the battlefield with her blue eyes retouched to become more brilliant. Interestingly, Winnick simply captioned the picture with: "Sooooon..." leading to speculations that the Vikings Season 5 Episode 11 air date will be announced shortly. The star of The Dark Tower actually posted the photo only a few days after it was revealed that the show would once again get represented at the upcoming 2018 San Diego Comic-Con.

Vikings is certainly due for an upgrade at SDCC after the show's stunning presentation last year. The series had decided to burn a longship model in honor of Ragnar Lothbrok, who never got a Viking funeral last season.

Although there have been no details about what the show is planning for SDCC this year, fans can expect the cast members to hold a panel at Ballroom 20 on Friday, July 20 between 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Hopefully, Katheryn Winnick and the other stars will finally reveal the Vikings Season 5 Episode 11 air date.

People certainly have a good reason why they can't wait for the return of the fifth season. There have been speculations that Lagertha is set for a major reunion with Ragnar Lothbrok before the time of her death. In addition to that, Vikings Season 5 Episode 11 could finally allow the Queen of Kattegat to see her old friend and former brother-in-law, Rollo.
