Lee Min Ho and Suzy Bae broke a lot of hearts when they decided to end their two-year relationship last year. However, previous reports claimed that the Legend of the Blue Sea actor might have already thought of popping the question to the former miss A singer before their shocking split.
The Lee Min Ho and Suzy Bae wedding rumors first broke when the 31-year-old South Korean actor, singer, and model was set to do his mandatory military service at the time. Since the actor will be away from the limelight for two years, speculations started to swirl that he might be securing his future with Suzy Bae by asking her to marry him.
On top of that, Lee Min Ho had said in a previous interview that he feels that he's already mature now and knows what he wants in life. He also noted that being a man, he is responsible for protecting his loved ones. This simple statement led fans to speculate that The Heirs actor was talking about Suzy Bae and wedding bells might soon be ringing for the now ex-couple.
Obviously, that didn’t happen, and both Lee Min Ho and Suzy Bae never confirmed nor denied all the wedding rumors. In fact, the While You Were Sleeping actress appeared not to be ready to make a big leap to their relationship at the time.
Korea Portal previously reported that Suzy Bae seemingly hinted that she was never comfortable dating Lee Min Ho. An insider shared that the former miss A singer had always been open to dating men, but the Legend of the Blue Sea actor was just a little too popular for her.
"Suzy also cares for her family so much that she is always careful in her actions that may affect her family," the source revealed, as translated by Koreaboo. Suzy and Lee Min Ho never worked together, so they didn’t have any mutual people in the industry."
Suzy Bae is now dating Goblin actor Lee Dong Wook. Lee Min Ho, on the other hand, is currently busy completing his mandatory military service.
