Sandara Park Set To Launch New Project With 'Weighlifting Fairy' Star Nam Joo Hyuk
Sandara Park may be mostly known as a former member of YG Entertainment’s girl group 2NE1, but the star had already expanded her brand a long time ago, so singing is not the only thing that she’s doing in her career. In fact, the former bandmate of CL, Bom, and Minzy is now prepping for a new project with the Weightlifting Fairy actor Nam Joo Hyuk.
So what is this project? If you’re living in the Philippines, then this will be a great opportunity to see the 33-year-old South Korean singer, actress, and television presenter and Nam Joo Hyuk together in one event. Sandara Park, a long-time endorser of the Filipino brand Penshoppe, will be returning to Manila with the Weightlifting Fairy star to headline the PENSHOPPE FanCon at the Mall of Asia Arena on July 29, 2018.
"The FanCon not only promises a chance for you to meet and greet #TeamPenshoppe's Sandara Park and Nam Joo Hyuk,” Penshoppe said in a statement. “It will also feature special performances from Club Penshoppe PH, Penshoppe’s local brand ambassadors.”
Even though Penshoppe has a lot of Filipino celebrity endorsers, the company is also known for featuring foreign artists like Zac Efron, Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Thai model and actor Marco Maurer, Mandy Moore, and a lot more. Although Sandara Park already collaborated with other celebrities, this is the first time that she will be working with the 24-year-old South Korean model and actor.
Unfortunately, for those who have just recently heard of Sandara Park and Nam Joo Hyuk's fan conference, registrations for all seat sections are already closed. Penshoppe’s official website noted that “confirmation emails are currently being sent out to those who have successfully registered.” The site then added that those who have registered already would have nothing to worry about, as “those emails will be on your way within 72 hours.”
Sandara Park spent most of her younger years in the Philippines, so the former 2NE1 star considered the country as her second home. As for Nam Joo Hyuk, being a part of Penshoppe is a fresh experience for him.
