There are speculations about which characters will be making an appearance in Hawaii Five-0 Season 9 when Alex O'Loughlin decides to leave more of the action sequences to the newer cast members. Kono Kalakaua did not appear in the eighth season, but her absence managed to lend some depth to Adam Noshimuri's storyline. Nevertheless, Ian Anthony Dale's character was somehow written out of the series as his connections to the Yakuza proved to be too dangerous. Interestingly, Adam's plan to join Kono in the mainland may have been a clue to what could happen in Hawaii Five-0 Season 9.
Some believe that Adam Noshimuri will still be a major part of Hawaii Five-0 Season 9. The character might go back to Honolulu to explain what really happened in Season 8. Adam's return could also offer a way to bring back Grace Park in a surprise cameo where Kono Kalakaua is supportive of her husband. It would also be a great way to address the character's departure.
