Shawn Mendes, Ansel Elgort, Zedd Reportedly Want To Work With BTS
BTS has already proven they are well-loved by fans around the world, but the Korean supergroup doesn't want to stop there. They managed to capture the attention of popular artists outside their hometown.
BTS was formally introduced to Western audiences with their appearance at the Billboard Music Awards last year, and since then, various artists have expressed interest in working with the boys for numerous collaboration projects.
Wanted: BTS
BTS has already worked with The Chainsmokers, Fall Out Boy, Wale, Desiigner, and Steve Aoki, but other Western artists seem adamant of doing collabs in the near future.
One of them is Shawn Mendes, who in an interview said he'll be "doing something" with BTS soon. In a separate interview, BTS echoed the same optimism as the soloist.
While not exactly a music artist, Hollywood actor Ansel Elgort has expressed several times about his love for BTS. In fact, he has met with the Korean boy band on multiple occasions. On Twitter, Elgort replied to a fan, saying he wishes he was a member of the popular idol group.
Zedd has also remarked on his willingness to work with BTS. In November 2017, BTS and the famous DJ somewhat confirmed an upcoming project. The collaboration is reportedly taking place this year, but already, Zedd made a remix of BTS's song "Fake Love."
Other Artists Who Want To Work With BTS
Earlier this month, pop band DNCE said they'd collab with BTS any time, in response to a fan's question. Troye Sivan also said he's open to any projects involving BTS, with BTS confirming they are already arranging a project together.
Latin pop sensation Maluma also said in March that he'd "love" to work with BTS in the future; as well as Tinashe and "Distraction" singer Kehlani.
Of course, we'd have to wait when these collaborations will happen, and fans can only hope it'll be sooner. For now, we'll have to hold on to their words and expect more exciting future projects for BTS and the artists they decide to work with.
