The former The Vampire Diaries star has just shared stunning new photos showing off her toned body against the gorgeous backdrop of a Costa Rican beach. In addition to that, Ian Somerhalder's ex has revealed that boys are not the only ones who could have a delightful vacation.

It might be a busy year for Nina Dobrev, but the Flatliners star still manages to take a break and hang out with her girlfriends. Dobrev was recently in Costa Rica between work on her new TV series Fam and the upcoming Damian Lewis film Run This Town. Interestingly, her all-girl crew happens to include hot Victoria's Secret model Kelsey Merritt.

Nina Dobrev certainly has no problem displaying her gorgeous figure. The former lead star of The Vampire Diaries has always posed in tiny bikinis in her social media accounts. However, the most recent pictures on her official Instagram account feature an undeniable hint of danger as Dobrev hangs from a roof with her lean legs extended. Although it is unclear how high up in the air she was, fans of Ian Somerhalder's ex believes that Dobrev may have been on a balcony in a resort in Costa Rica.

Luckily, it looks like the real Elena Gilbert managed to get back on her feet without much trouble. Nina Dobrev also popped up in supermodel Kelsey Merritt's vacation photos in a different bikini. It's easy to see that the xXx: Return of Xander Cage actress had a wonderful time hanging out with her beautiful girlfriends without the company of any boys.

But could this mean that Nina Dobrev wants to remain single? Considering her busy schedule, Ian Somerhalder's former The Vampire Diaries co-star prefers the freedom to do what she wants when she wants to. Dobrev also seems to be enjoying being a single fur mommy to her beloved dog.
