Momoland 2018 Return: Mini-Album, New Song To Be Released; Girls Collaborate With Shinsadong Tiger Again

After their big hit "Bboom Bboom," Momoland is set to be back with a new song and mini-album this June. Nancy, Taeha, Yeonwoo, Ahin, Daisy, Jane, Nayun, Jooe, and Hyebin's music label, Doublekick Company, confirmed their return and revealed their upcoming track's release date.

Momoland will be once again collaborating with Shinsadong Tiger, the music producer the girls worked with for their hit song "Bboom Bboom." Doublekick Company said that the group and the 34-year-old songwriter showed "a great chemistry" with the song they had worked on together. So, it is now looking forward to the "best collaboration" coming soon, via AllKpop.

Doublekick Company described the new song, which will be released on June 26, as an "upbeat dance track," per UPI. The music label then promised to do their best, so Momoland will continuously show their very best efforts. The music label earlier revealed that Nancy, Taeha, Yeonwoo, Ahin, Daisy, Jane, Nayun, Jooe, and Hyebin would return with a new mini-album in late June. This will be the girls' latest release in five months after their third LP, Great. It even teased the coming of good music from Momoland.

Aside from that, the girls will be releasing the Japanese version of their hit song, "Bboom Bboom," on June 13. In fact, they already released a full Japanese music video for the said track. According to Marianas Variety, the Japanese version of "Bboom Bboom's" music video was shot in Saipan.

The clip showed the island's beautiful sceneries and different locations to showcase its natural beauty. Momoland started the MV's production on April 27, and it ended on May 2. Around 50 people flew to the Northern Mariana Islands, of course, including, Nancy, Taeha, Yeonwoo, Ahin, Daisy, Jane, Nayun, Jooe, and Hyebin. Aside from "Bboom Bboom," Momoland will be releasing the Japanese version of "Welcome to Momoland."

Meanwhile, the group's hit song "Bboom Bboom," which is a part of their mini-album Great, showed great success. In fact, it even got more than 100 million views on YouTube in April.

Nancy, Taeha, Yeonwoo, Ahin, Daisy, Jane, Nayun, Jooe, and Hyebin all started on the reality show Finding Momoland in 2016. They, too, are known for their hit singles "JJan! Koong! Kwang!" "Wonderful Love," and "Freeze." It is also reported that Momoland is also planning to do a world tour later this year.
