BTS' Hits 2018 Billboard Music Awards Red Carpet In Different Hip Styles; Reveals The Artist They Want To Collaborate With
BTS members RM, J-Hope, Jin, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have arrived at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards amidst the screaming fans in the audience. BTS also revealed at the red carpet the artist they want to work with.
Hundreds of BTS Army waited for their K-pop idols and as soon as the boys stepped out of the red carpet, loud screams erupted. BTS members attend the BMAs this year as they are nominated for the Top Social Artist award and they are also set to perform a new song from their recently-released album Love Yourself: Tear.
The BTS idols look suave and elegant in the different Gucci wardrobe they are wearing. Both V and Jungkook wore navy blue suits with polo shirts beneath. Jin is clad in a classic Gucci three-piece printed suit.
RM, Jimin, Suga, and J-Hope kept their look casual. RM is sporting a Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses while Jimin wears bowling shirt and an ascot. Suga is in jeans paired with a slim belt and J-Hope wears simple tee and cap. Most of the boys are also wearing white sneakers or loafers.
The boys thank their Army for their warm welcome and unwavering support even abroad. During the red carpet interview with E! News, the group was asked how they cope with the overwhelming number of fans in every place they go.
"We cannot get used to it, it's a miracle. They are like the most amazing fans in the world," BTS leader RM told Jason Kennedy of E! News.
BTS' appearance at the BMAs this year is historic for both the band and the award-giving body. This is the Bangtan Boys first time to perform at BMAs and they are also the first K-pop group ever to put on an act in the event.
BTS is slated to perform their new single "Fake Love" for its world TV premiere. RM assured that their performance of "Fake Love" will be more powerful than ever as they have been practicing their choreography for three months.
BTS had their debut appearance at the BMAs last year. They took the stage to receive their Top Social Artist award but they did not perform. They are nominated this year for the same category and possibly get a back-to-back win. BTS is going up against Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, and Shawn Mendes this year.
Meanwhile, BTS also revealed that they are interested to collaborate with their good friend and fellow nominee Shawn Mendes. The collaboration seems likely as Mendes earlier said he is willing to work with the K-pop group in the future. The "In My Blood" singer previously admitted that he is a fan of BTS after meeting the K-pop group at the American Music Awards.
BTS and Mendes are expected to bump shoulder in 2018 Billboard Music Awards which will broadcast at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 20. It will be aired live at 8:00 PM EST on NBC.
