With that quick appearance, many were hoping that the forthcoming One Piece Chapter 904 will feature even just the slightest touch about Weevil to finally put an end to all the guessing games.

Now, rumor has it that Edward Weevil is going to be talked about a lot at the “Reverie.” This gathering will be participated by renowned leaders, and it is believed to take place in One Piece Chapter 904 since many predicted that the title would be “To The World Meeting.” Whispers and speculations also suggested that the mysterious character might play a huge role in the upcoming Wano Country arc.

As for Edward Weevil’s appearance, there is also meaning behind it. According to Arlong Park forums, One Piece Chapter 904 creator Eiichiro Oda introduced Weevil as a “super cool character” to his editor. However, Tomokazu Sugita was baffled when he saw what the character looked like since Weevil wasn’t cool enough for him like he envisioned him to be. But When Oda and Sugita finally talked about Weevil’s exterior, the creator revealed something about the character that amazed the editor.

Although the story behind Weevil’s look was never revealed, it seems that there is more depth about the character than the manga series is trying to make it look like at the moment. While these talks about Weevil have yet to be verified, fans can watch if the character will make it to the upcoming installment when One Piece Chapter 904 arrive on May 14, 2018.
