BTS News & Update: Bangtan Boys Reveal 2 More Batches Of 'Y' And 'U' Concept Images; Jimin Receives Death Threat
BTS perfectly knows how to tease their fans for their much-awaited return. V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, and J-Hope released two more batches of their concept images' Y and U versions on the midnight of Friday, May 11.
After the release of their first concept images' O and R versions on Wednesday, May 9, BTS now unveiled photos of the last two versions to complete Love Yourself: Tear's four different versions. Compared to the first two, Y and U versions are more filled with pastel colors that are made soft by the light lightning.
In the Y version batch of photos, BTS can be seen posing on the desert while wearing different colored outfits. On the other hand, the U version shows V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, and J-Hope in all-white long-sleeve polo and pants. This version also shows their close-up looks.
Putting all the letters of BTS' concept images' versions, it will be spelled out as "YOUR." According to Soompi, it is a follow up to the word "LOVE" used for the release of their previous album, Love Yourself: Her.
Meanwhile, BTS member Jimin received a death threat on Twitter on Thursday, May 10. Twitter user @TaehyungsBabe95 shared a screenshot of a tweet by someone named Anon, which threatens the 22-year-old singer's life. "I'm going to shoot Park Jimin with a Glock 19 in Fort Worth on September 16," he said.

Upon seeing the death threat, the fan quickly gets the city's Convention and Visitor's bureau's attention to make the security in BTS' upcoming event tight. Anon was talking about the group's upcoming concert at the Fort Worth Convention Center in downtown Fort Worth on September 15 and 16. Fort Worth police, on the other hand, quickly responded and said they are now investigating the threat.
According to Fort Worth Star-Telegram, director of public events for the city of Fort Worth Kirk Slaughter said the death threat BTS has received comes as a no big surprise. The moment the group's schedule at Fort Worth Convention Center has been booked, the city is aware that someone will threaten the boys. So, they already prepared their selves for that. The city's police are now coordinating with the Department of Homeland Security to make sure of V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, and J-Hope's safety. "So, rest assured things will be fine," he said.
