Abby Lee Miller Health Update: ‘Dance Moms’ Star’s Condition Allegedly Declining After Being Diagnosed With Cancer
Abby Lee Miller is currently facing her toughest battle yet. While the Dance Moms star used to be worried about taking the top spot in dance competitions, the Abby Lee Dance Company mentor is now trying to win her life back from cancer.
The 51-year-old dance coach had been diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, a form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which is cancer that develops in the lymphatic system after doctors previously thought that she was suffering from a spinal infection. Now, a new report claimed that Abby Lee Miller’s health is declining after being admitted to the hospital.
According to a Radar Online source, Abby Lee Miller’s treatment for diagnosis has not been successful. In fact, the insider revealed that the Dance Moms star might not recover from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma as the chemotherapy didn’t appear to be as effective as her doctors hoped it would be.
“They are not sure she is going to recover from or make it at this point,” the source told the publication. “It is so bad. They are waiting for tests results to come back and then they would know more.”
However, despite the unfortunate update on Abby Lee Miller’s health, the dance teacher remains optimistic about life. If there is one thing that Abby has to do right now, that is to stay positive, and that’s exactly what she’s doing at the moment while battling cancer.
A source told People that Abby Lee Miller is “undergoing chemo and has good days and bad days, but overall she’s staying optimistic and looking forward.” The Dance Moms star then took to Instagram and posted a snap taking a much-needed rest at the hospital and laying on a pillow with the statement that she’s famously known for: Save your tears for the pillow. She then captioned the post: “Practice what you preach!”
Despite being known for her tough teaching and gaining a lot of enemies because of that, Abby Lee Miller still received a lot of get-well wishes from fans, critics, and some of the cast of Dance Moms. Although reports claim that her recovery might be bleak, Abby’s Instagram is still filled with positive posts.
