EXO is arguably one of the most popular and successful groups in the K-pop world, which is why the members get a lot of opportunities for being a part of the band. In fact, Suho just recently nabbed his very first lead role in a full-length drama, Rich Man. So is he ready to put his singing career behind him to become a full-fledged actor?

The 26-year-old South Korean singer and actor now knows what it feels like to be a part of a long-term drama. This is not just some random opportunity given to a famous K-pop idol who wanted to branch out, EXO's Suho (Kim Jun-myeon) is cast as a lead star in Rich Man, which is a big deal.

Rich Man Is Suho’s First-Ever Full-Length Korean Drama, EXO Star Feels The Pressure

Since this is the first time that EXO's Suho takes such a role, the star was understandably feeling a lot of pressure during the press conference in Seoul. Despite his experience in performing on stage with the rest of his EXO members, Suho felt overwhelmed as he slowly takes his acting career seriously.

"Rich Man is the first long-term drama for me. Of course, I'm feeling pressured because it's also my first leading role,” shared EXO's Suho, who’s playing Lee Yoo Chan in the new drama. "But I recently worked on a musical, and after communicating with the audience, I realized that it works when you sincerely perform.”

Rich Man To Air Soon, Suho’s Nerves Took Over While Promoting Upcoming Drama

Although he already has a background in trying to please the audience, Suho still has a hard time being fully confident in his acting skills. The singer-turned-actor revealed that he knows that there is a chance that he “may be lacking to some viewers but I'm going to try my best with my acting and communication so please give great love and attention.” Despite his worries, fans will be the judge of his acting skills when they finally get to watch Suho in Rich Man on May 9, 2018, at 11 p.m.

Even though Suho has already expanded his brand, it doesn't appear that he's ready to leave his music career for good. In fact, K-pop idols are known for juggling their acting and music engagements, so the EXO star appearing in Rich Man doesn't really affect his journey with his group.
