BTS made another world record for being the first K-Pop group winning two categories at The Hall of Star Awards 2018 on Monday, April 30, in Madrid, Spain. V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, and J-Hope won over their fellow K-Pop idols, Infinite and VIXX.

BTS won the World Category, which would be determined by gathering fan votes outside Spain, and the Spain Category, which was the result of counting fan votes within the country. Unfortunately, V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, and J-Hope didn't make it to Spain to perform. However, they still won the said nominations by a landslide that made The Hall of Star Awards 2018's hosts surprised, per All Kpop.

In an earlier report, aside from BTS, Infinite and VIXX were potential nominees for The Hall of Star Awards 2018. The three were battling over the top five nominee spots. The winning group will be determined after the preliminary vote's deadline that was held on February 24.

At the time, fans just had to cast their vote on Twitter by using the hashtag, "#THOSFANS," with the name of their favorite group. The Hall of Stars Awards 2018 is created by The Hall of Stars, which supports different kinds of idols all over the world, which, of course, includes the K-pop groups.

BTS has a lot of achievements added to their list of numerous achievements. Since 2013, V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, and J-Hope are making noise all over the world. They have dominated almost all of Billboard's Social charts in 2017. In fact, they have been doing the same this year — topping charts all over again. They were even named as Billboard Music Awards 2017's Top Social Artist.

Additionally, BTS also managed to be TIME's Most Influential People on the Internet in 2017. And now, they even won the 2018 TIME 100 reader poll. With the support of their 14 million fans, who are called the ARMY, it looks like there is nothing RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook can't achieve. If truth be told, they are one of the many K-pop groups that have huge fanbases.

"We came together with a common dream to write, dance, and produce music," RM told TIME in 2017. BTS interests are said to reflect their musical background and their values of "acceptance, vulnerability, and success." The group's new album, Love Yourself: Tear, will be out on May 18.
