'Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma' Season 3 Spoilers: 3 New Characters To Build More Tension To The Upcoming Battle
Fans love the return of Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma Season 3 as their favorite chefs are now preparing for a big war. Things are getting pretty intense as the battle between Central and Polar Star Dorm is about to start. Now, to get things more hyped, there will be new characters coming to the anime series.
In Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 23, it revealed that the three characters coming to Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma Season 3 are Sōe Nakiri, Berta, and Cilla. According to Comicbook, the rebel students are now having a hard time dealing with their final exams and they feel it is already stacked against them. So, these three will be building more tension on the fan-favorite characters.
In Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma Season 3, Sōe Nakiri is Alice's father and he will be voiced by Ryotaro Okiayu. Berta and Cilla will be then played by Aimi Tanaka and Sayaka Senbongi respectively, and they will both be "subordinates under Alice's mother Leonora," per Anime News Network.
Sōe Nakiri, Berta, and Cilla are reportedly playing important parts in Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma Season 3's next Shokugeki, a cooking duel, at Totsuki Teahouse Culinary Academy. They are all set to appear in the upcoming Episode 17 that will air on Sunday, May 6. To recall, at the end of the previous episode, the rebel chefs learned the promotion exams' next battle will make them face the Elite Ten.
In Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma Season 3's official synopsis, Yukihira is honing his talent in cooking while trying to help his family's diner, until he decided to join the best cooking school in town, the Totsuki Teahouse Culinary Academy. As he met different kinds of chefs with various abilities along the way, he started to look for his own skill.
Soma had more experiences by following the school's curriculum by working in real restaurants. He managed to develop his cooking abilities and his personality. He, too, successfully completed his curriculum and grew even better. So, after his training, Soma challenged the Totsuki Elite Ten in Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma Season 3. Their battle will happen in front of 500,000 guests at the Moon Festival. From here, Soma's new adventure is about to begin.
