'Red Dead Redemption 2' News: New Trailer To Arrive This Week
Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming in red-hot this week, as its developers have announced that there will be a new trailer for the upcoming open-world western frontier game.
Rockstar Games, the developer, and publisher of Red Dead Redemption 2 has revealed that they will be dropping the third trailer for their new game on May 2, Tuesday, at 11 a.m. EST. This much was revealed by Rockstar Games in one of their tweets from their official account. The video will then be available both on YouTube and Rockstar Games' official website.
It is not clear yet what the new trailer will involve since the second and previous one gave a lot of hints about what the story will be along with the protagonist and supporting characters of the game. This time around, the trailer might just flesh out some of those and introduce new features, or better yet, it might also be a gameplay trailer showing off an in-game footage played by an actual person. The latter though is more unlikely and will probably be reserved for the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2018 to take place in June.
There was also quite a significant teaser drought between the second and upcoming third trailer since the second one took place back in September 2017 which is more than six months from now. Rest assured, this upcoming third trailer is bound to be a big one since the fans are somewhat owed a lot of exciting new things.
It is also worth noting that Red Dead Redemption 2 has been delayed a lot of times now, from its initial release date of Fall 2017, it was pushed back by the developers to a Spring 2018 window. Afterward, it was yet again delayed to a hopefully final and realistic release date of October 26. The concrete release schedule is definitely reassuring and could mean that the game's development is finally coming along smoothly this time.
Rockstar Games themselves have claimed that they were confident that a delay would not happen again, meaning Red Dead Redemption 2 will definitely be out this year. Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 only.
