'Hawaii Five-0' Season 8 Episode 23 Spoilers: Cammy Lin On The Run

In the coming Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 23, Steve McGarrett and his team will have to rely on their superb investigative skills to solve a crime. This time, however, it seems that the team will have to dig deeper into the criminal underworld in an attempt to solve a crime.

Former Mob Boss Dies

Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 23 will present a difficult task—the death of a mob boss, as revealed by the episode synopsis. One can imagine just how difficult this case will be given that the likelihood that omerta is probably being observed even by these local criminals.

Omerta is that code of silence practiced by the mafia and anyone who has dealings with the group. Silence about any type of criminal activity where everyone is forbidden from giving any evidence to investigating authorities.

Anyone in their right mind would rather not meddle in the affairs of the mob. While there might be witnesses to the incident, most would not cooperate with the police for fear of being silenced themselves.

Cammy Lin On The Run

Fortunately for the Hawaii Five-0 team, there is actually a witness to the murder that might serve as their only key to solve the puzzle. What's even better is that the witness is Cammy Lin, a friend of Junior.

But it may evolve into a race between McGarrett's team and the mob on who gets to find Cammy Lin first. As stated in the synopsis, Cammy will be on the run, which suggests that the mob already knows that she saw the killing.

Obviously, the mob's sole purpose in searching for Cammy is to kill her in order to prevent her from telling the police. Being his friend, Junior, the team's newest member, will likely be more involved in the case than usual.

Eddie Visits The Vet

On a lighter note, fans can expect Steve McGarrett's lovable yellow Labrador retriever to have some screen time as well. According to CarterMatt, there is a good chance that Eddie is going to be sick as promotional photos already show him visiting a vet.

Hopefully, it won't be a major issue at all since TV audiences, in general, are not that trained in handling sick dogs. Hawaii Five-0 Season 8 Episode 23 arrives this Friday, May 4, 2018, on CBS.
