'This Is Us' Season 3 Air Date, Spoilers, Plot, Characters & Update: Jack's Secrets Will Be Revealed, Are Randall And Beth Divorcing?

Many fans are now thrilled with the upcoming premiere of This Is Us Season 3. The finale episode of the series' second installment broke the hearts of several viewers after one of the lead characters, Jack Pearson (Milo Ventimiglia), bid his last goodbye. Though the show is set to move forward sans the much-loved character, spoilers suggest that the imminent new season will still feature the Jack and his backstory.

For starters, the popular family drama television series focuses on the lives and families of two adults and their three children who were born on the same day as their patriarch's red letter day. Created by Dan Fogelman, the first installment of the show aired on Sept. 20, 2016. Aside from Jack Pearson, other stars who are expected to return in This Is Us Season 3 include Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan, Ron Cephas Jones, Jon Huertas, Alexandra Breckenridge, Eris Baker and Faithe Herman among others.

Harper's Bazaar previously shared that Jack Pearson will still be seen in the forthcoming This Is Us Season 3 despite his shocking death in the finale episode of the show's second installment. Milo Ventimiglia even told Megyn Kelly Today that he is not leaving the show yet. Other spoilers even suggest that the relationship of Jack with his brother, Nicky, might also be explored in the show's third season.

"Even though we saw Jack pass, that doesn't mean I, Milo, am leaving the show. There's no Ned Stark happening." 

Showrunner Dan Fogelman seconded Milo Ventimiglia's revelations and confirmed that fans will learn a lot about Jack Pearson's backstory. The series creator added that all of Jack's secrets will be unveiled in the upcoming This Is Us Season 3. He also divulged that most scenes in the imminent new installment will take place in Vietnam.

"In many ways, Jack might be the character we still have the most to learn about, because he's kept so many secrets in this period before we've really known him."

Aside from Jack Pearson's backstory, spoilers have it that This Is Us Season 3 will also tackle the marital problems of Randall and Beth Pearson. Sterling K. Brown revealed to People that another set of troubles are waiting for the couple in the forthcoming new installment. It was previously revealed that the pair will launch a new venture and welcome a foster child in the next season. 

"There will be a bit of an exploration of marriage with regards to Randall and Beth going through times that aren't all sunshine and rainbows. That's not to say that they are in danger of parting ways, but marriage is real and takes work."

Other spoilers also suggested that the relationship of Rebecca Pearson and Miguel Rivas will also be highlighted. It was also revealed that all 18 episodes of the upcoming season will be devastating.
