Han Ye Seul Surgery Update: 'Birth Of A Beauty' Star Might Undergo Another 'Professional Treatment'
After the devastating surgery Han Ye Seul went through, CHA Hospital revealed an official statement about the incident on Monday, April 23. The hospice apologized to the 36-year-old actress and admitted its mistake during her lipoma removal surgery.
After the procedure, Han Ye Seul shared a snap of her wound on Instagram. Hence, fans quickly reacted to the wound's severity and sympathized with the Birth of a Beauty star. CHA Hospital claimed her scars could be fixed with the help of cosmetic surgery, according to All Kpop.
CHA Hospital, too, stated it understands her "mental struggles" because of her huge injury. "On this, we once again apologize," it added. A cosmetic surgery professional explained Han Ye Seul's scar can be diminished by "proper sealing technique." The infirmary then promised it would do its best to give Han Ye Seul "professional treatment."
To recall, Han Ye Seul revealed she is a victim of medical practice after having her lipoma removed. The Couple or Trouble star bravely revealed CHA Hospital wasn't saying anything about giving her compensation two weeks after the incident. She then admitted what happened to her gave her a huge heartbreak as she has to undergo treatment every single day. "To be honest, I don't think any sort of compensation would comfort me," she said in a post on Instagram.

The doctor, Professor Lee Ji Hyun, who performed the operation from the Gangnam CHA Hospital bravely come forward, admitted his mistake, and also apologized to the actress.

In an interview with the medical journalist, Hong Hye Gul, per All Kpop, Lee Ji Hyun revealed he removed the tumor from below to hide the scar. However, things went wrong when the electric knife he was using cut through her skin "from inside out."
Lee Ji Hyun acknowledged his mistake and apologized to Han Ye Seul. He explained he made a wrong decision on how to perform the surgery and he is truly sorry about that. Also, on the contrary to some assumptions, he insisted he didn't implant skin tissues from other parts of her body or a cadaver that caused the wound to be infected.
