Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo 2018: 'Descendants Of The Sun' Stars Beat Kim Sun Ah, Hyun Bin, Lee Bo Young And Lee Jong Suk
There is no denying that the tandem of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo is one of the most followed pairings today. The Song-Song couple caught the hearts of many when they appeared on the 2016 series titled Descendants of the Sun. Despite the fact that the duo has been away from the spotlight for quite some time now, the pair is still able to make it into the headlines.
Previous reports suggested that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo developed feelings for each other while filming Descendants of the Sun. As a matter of fact, it was claimed that the Song-Song couple has been very cozy with each other while working on the hit series. However, a friend close to the South Korean superstars told Koreaboo that the two had actually fallen for each other before the camera started rolling.
"The two of them began falling in love last February, before Descendants Of The Sun began filming. The drama started filming mid-2015, and only aired after it was completely filmed."

Recently, Manila Bulletin shared that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have reached another milestone in their careers. The news outlet, which is based in the Philippines, claimed that the Descendants of the Sun stars have been chosen as the best Korean drama couple with age difference. Most fans are aware that the Song-Song couple has a four-year age gap.
In a survey conducted by PMI, Song Joong Ki, 32, and Song Hye Kyo, 36, reigned supreme after garnered 32.3 percent of the total number of votes. Kim Sun Ah, 42, and Hyun Bin, 35, of My Name is Kim Sam Soon got the second place with 19.3 percent. I Can Hear Your Voice stars Lee Bo Young and Lee Jong Suk, on the other hand, ranked third with eight percent.
Other pairs who made it to the list include Moon Chae Won, 31, and Joo Won, 30, of Good Doctor; Go Hyun Jung, 47, Jo In Sung, 36, of Dear My Friends; Yang Se Jong, 25, and Seo Hyun Jin, 33, of Temperature of Love; and Kim Hee Ae, 50, and Yoo Ah In, 31, who starred the television series titled The Secret Affair. A total of 2,400 respondents, from the 20-50 age bracket, participated in the survey. The study was conducted amidst the popularity of Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food show, which was based on the real-life love story of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo.
Meanwhile, AllKpop shared that Section TV received a warning from the Korea Communications Standards Commission after the show broadcasted some photos that were taken from the official Instagram account of Song Hye Kyo. Avid followers of the Descendants of the Sun actress filed complaints, claiming that the show has violated the privacy of Song Joong Ki's wife.
