After five weeks of training, Big Bang's G-Dragon finished his basic military training before he starts his assignment as a soldier. In fact, according to reports, the 29-year-old idol attended his military training completion ceremony on Thursday, April 5.

According to Metro, G-Dragon finished his military training with excellence as he showed extraordinary physical fitness and mental stamina. Hence, he is said to be named as an army instructor assistant for the military's third infantry division unit, also called the White Skull division.

However, the Korean military denied the claim that G-Dragon was assigned as a military instruction assistant in his unit. The military's press office said in a statement that the Big Bang member was never considered to be the third infantry division's "instruction assistant." "His final assignment is as a regular soldier in a unit under the 3rd Infantry Division," it added.

The Korean military press office then confirmed G-Dragon indeed finished his military training and completion ceremony. So, he is set to be transferred on Friday, April 6.

Meanwhile, ever since G-Dragon got enlisted in the military on February 27, it looks like the Big Bang member's fans are having a hard time accepting his absence. Hence, to stay in touch with their favorite South Korean pop star, All Kpop reported his supporters flooded his unit with tons of fan mail.

The emails coming were so uncontrollable that YG Entertainment started to beg G-Dragon's fans to stop sending him letters. The music label revealed the high volume of posts he has been receiving is also giving him difficulty. So, they are asking everyone to avoid sending him e-mails.

The e-mails sent to G-Dragon have to be printed on paper so he can read them. When the unit has to give the Big Bang member his letters, it often runs out of ink and A4 paper because of the massive influx. G-Dragon felt sorry for the other soldiers as they are not receiving their own correspondence because of him.

G-Dragon is set to be out from his military unit on November 26, 2019.
