Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are, undeniably, one of the most successful pairings in the history of Asian television. A proof to this is the success of Descendants of the Sun series that made waves in Asia, Europe and some parts of America. At present, the 32-year-old actor and his better half are on a temporary hiatus from the glitz and glamour of the entertainment industry.

Despite this, both Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo could still manage to make their names appear on the headlines. As a matter of fact, KENH14 listed the Descendants of the Sun actor as one of the handsome artists who is "making Asia crazy." The news outlet shared that the Daejeon-native artist, along with Park Bo Gum and Jung Hae In, is being considered as one of the most-admired stars in Asia.

The publication claimed that Song Joong Ki, Park Bo Gum, and Jung Hae In have one thing in common: "they bring the same pure feeling as the first love in the youthful dream of all the girls." Most fans are aware that the husband of Song Hye Kyo rose to fame when he starred in the Sungkyunkwan Scandal television series. In the said show, the Descendants of the Sun actor portrayed the role of Gu Yong Ha, who is also known as Yeo Rim.

Sungkyunkwan Scandal focused on the story of Kim Yoon Hee (Park Min Young) who disguised herself as her brother, Kim Yoon Shik, in order to make ends meet for her family. Song Joong Ki, who is now the husband of Song Hye Kyo, played as an upperclassman who kept on tormenting Yoon Hee. Park Bo Gum and Jung Hae In, on the other hand, appeared on Love in the Moonlight and Goblin, respectively.
