A potential hit song is coming from BIGBANG's Seungri and former Wonder Girls member Sunmi. Seungri has teased a possible collaboration with Sunmi in his recent social media post.

On Instagram, the K-pop male group member shared a snap of him and Sunmi. The two were seen smiling and striking a "Gashina" pose in the photo, while Seungri teases a "Seung-Mi" collaboration.

"Seungri meeting Sunmi. Will our Seung-Mi collaboration happen...#Gashina," Seungri wrote in the caption.

The photo triggered speculations that the BIGBANG member is probably planning to feature a song with Sunmi in his upcoming solo album. Aside from a team-up with the ex-Wonder Girls member, a partnership with world-renowned DJ R3hab is also expected. R3hab earlier teased a new collaboration with Seungri as he posted his photo with the K-pop idol on Instagram.

BIGBANG's Seungri New Solo Album

Seungri has been planning a solo comeback before he starts his mandatory military service later this year. BIGBANG label YG Entertainment earlier said Seungri wants to be enlisted after he is done promoting his Chinese film Love Only and once he releases his solo album. The singer's Chinese movie debut already hit cinemas last month.

BIGBANG's is currently on hiatus after Taeyang, G-Dragon, and Daesung had enlisted in the military last month. T.O.P has finished his training and already working as a public service worker to complete his mandatory military service. He is expected to be discharged in June 2019.

This leaves Seungri as the only active member of BIGBANG. Seungri is the youngest in the five-member band. He is expected to be enlisted in the second half of 2018.

Seungri earlier admitted that he is "finally living" now that his BIGBANG bandmates are in the military. All the attention is on him, but it also comes with huge responsibility.

"I don't want to say this, but now that my members are in the military, I feel like I'm finally living. All the attention is on me. All the employees of my agency only think of me ... As someone who is responsible as the face of BIGBANG right now because all of my members are in the military, I plan to be highly active so that their empty spaces will not be felt," the 27-year-old singer said during an interview with MBC's Radio Star.

Seungri's New TV Show

Aside from a solo album, the BIGBANG member will also star in YG Entertainment and Netflix's new sitcom. The show is titled YG Future Strategy Office. Seungri's character in the show will head a newly-formed department within YG—the Future Strategy Office. FSO is somewhat a department where the company's misfits will be dumped. The series will follow Seungri and his department as they redeem their reputation within the company.

Aside from Seungri, it will also feature the other talents of YG, as well as guest appearances by other K-pop groups such as iKON, BlackPink, and Winner. YG and Netflix have yet to announce an exact premiere date for YG Future Strategy Office. However, it is expected to hit small screens this year.
