Shocking Detail Revealed About Tokyo Ghoul Season 3, Episode One
Tokyo Ghoul fans are excited about the third season. However, a new information about Tokyo Ghoul:re may be a huge disappointment to fans.
A fan who attended the Anime Japan 2018 took to his Tumblr account to post his reaction on the first episode of Tokyo Ghoul Season 3.
"I can honestly say it was pretty close to the manga although it was only the first episode so who knows whether the entire anime will stay true to the manga," he wrote.
It turns out, the first episode tackled six chapters. With that being said, it only means that it will cover approximately 70 chapters by its 12th episode and have the whole manga laid out even before the third season wraps up.
Although some fans may not be shocked by the fast pacing of the series, some are not thrilled with this revelation. The first season of Tokyo Ghoul also had fast pacing and Studio Perriot will probably do the same thing to the third season.
Tokyo Ghoul:re will be set two years following the events of the original series. It will also follow the life of Haise Sasake. The main catch? Haise is Ken Kaneki from the original series who is suffering from a period of amnesia.
"Haise Sasaki has been tasked with teaching Qs Squad how to be outstanding investigators, but his assignment is complicated by the troublesome personalities of his students and his own uncertain grasp of his Ghoul powers. Can he pull them together as a team of will Qs Squad first assignment be their last?"
With this news, fans' excitement died down. The past few months have been filled with exciting revelations about the upcoming season that have brought on a thick air of anticipation over the fans. With the recent release of additional character art and the series opening theme by the studio, the fans were on a high until this news came.
Still, the silver lining is, fans will be able to see a new group of characters on the new season.
Tokyo Ghoul: re will air in Japan on April 3, 2018.
