Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo 2018: Couple Spends Quality Time In Busan, Inspired The Upcoming 'Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food' Drama Series

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have maintained their huge fan base despite the fact that they have been away from the spotlight for quite some time now. The Song-Song couple became household names when they both appeared in the 2006 series titled Descendants of the Sun. Their followers have rejoiced after their on-screen romance turned into a real-life relationship.

The two South Korean superstars took a break from showbiz since they tied the knot on Oct. 31, 2017. As a matter of fact, Primadonna reported that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have lived along with the Descendants of the Sun actor's parents in Daejeon, South Korea. A few weeks ago, the Song-Song couple was sighted together in Seoul City.

Recently, AllKpop reported that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo were seen spending quality time with each other in Busan. Chinese media outlet Sina, as cited by the entertainment news website, claimed that the Descendants of the Sun lead stars enjoyed a date in the Haeundae District earlier this week. It was reported that the Song-Song couple sported matching ensembles while enjoying their meals at a gopchang bistro.

This is not the first time that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo were spotted together this month. In fact, the Descendants of the Sun stars were also seen at a theatre in Seoul. The Song-Song couple watched the Richard III musical as their way to show support to Hwang Jung Min.

Meanwhile, International Business Times India shared that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are the inspiration behind the imminent new series called Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food. Director Ahn Pan-Seok shared that the upcoming show's title is a reference to a line previously used by the Descendants of the Sun stars. The new drama would star Jung Hae-In and Son Ye-Jin.

"I was surfing the internet one day when I came across the phrase 'noona who buys me food.' It was from an interview about a very famous star couple that got married after using that phrase. I thought it was really witty. The titles are meaningful, but I have not been able to memorize them so much, so I thought that if I had a drama, I wanted to build the title specifically.''

Before she got engaged with Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo confirmed in an interview that she actually used the phrase. The Descendants of the Sun actress revealed that she buys her now-husband and good pal Yoo Ah In. The Full House star even said that her better half usually pays first everytime she attempts to buy him food.
