Fans of K-pop group 100% are waiting for information on whether or not the band's concerts in Japan will be held as planned following the sudden death of its lead vocalist Seo Minwoo. The 100% is slated to hold shows in Japan on April 21 and April 30. The group's management agency, TOP Media, has yet to issue a statement with regard to 100% future activities.

The boy band is slated to have concerts in Tokyo on April 21 and in Osaka Japan on April 30. The group found their success in Japan this year when their third Japanese single, "Song for You," was released in February. The song made it to the Top 10 of Japan's Oricon chart. The 100% group previously dropped the track, "Warrior," and its music video in Japan in June 2017.

Amidst the grief of Seo's death, 100% fans will have to wait for TOP Media announcement regarding the band's upcoming activities. The agency earlier released a statement confirming Seo's death. TOP Media said the singer/actor has passed away on Sunday after he was found unconscious in his home at Gangnam in Seoul, South Korea. Paramedics were called to the scene, but the singer was later on declared dead.

"His family, the 100% members, and the TOP Media artists and staff members are all grief-stricken and in mourning from the unexpected, sad news," TOP Media said.

Reports indicated that investigation is ongoing on the cause of Seo's death. However, reports were suggesting that he died of cardiac arrest. The 33-year-old singer is described as "warm and kind-hearted" and an artist who deeply loved his fans. The agency said Seo would be having a quiet and private funeral.

Like his family and friends, 100% fans were shocked by the news of Seo's death. It has triggered outpouring grief from fans. Many expressed their sadness at the news on social media sites. Some even remember the death of another K-pop artist recently.

In December 2017, K-Pop boy band SHINee leader Kim Jonghyun died at the age of 27. He died from a suspected suicide. He succumbed in a hospital in Seoul after being found unconscious in his apartment.

Everything To Know About Seo Minwoo and 100%

He started his career in Korea's entertainment industry in KBS2 drama Sharp 3 in 2006. He was in SBS's K-drama The King and I as well. Seo made several cameos in TV series and movies before he pursued singing and became part of 100%. The boy band debuted in 2012 under TOP Media. Seo stood as the leader of the boy band since their debut.

Originally, the group consisted of seven members. In 2014, Lee Sanghoon left the band. Two years later, Woo Changbum decided to follow his former bandmate. The group currently has five members - Seo Minwoo, Kim Rockhyun, Jo Jonghwan, Kim Chanyong, and Jang Hyukjin.

At first, they failed to land on top of music charts, making them one of K-pop's most underrated artists. The biggest break of the group came in 2016 with their song, "Better Day." They dropped their third EP, Time Leap, and a music video for "Better Day" in October 2016. At the same time, 100% made their way into the Japanese market. So far, the group has released five albums.
