BTS Latest News & Update: 'Mic Drop' Singers Speechless For The Love John Cena Is Giving
John Cena has been open about his love and fondness for the K-pop group, BTS. In fact, at the recent Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2018, he couldn't help but dance to the South Korean boy band's music. As he congratulated the boys for winning Favorite Global Music Star on Twitter, the "Mic Drop" singers, of course, responded.
The 40-year-old professional wrestler started his tweet with a thank you to Nickelodeon and BTS. "Gotta rep my boy JHope! Namjoon, all in good fun, all for RM! Congrats on '18 #KCA Global Music Star!" he continued to say.
He also gave his heartfelt gratitude for letting him be the host that night and even used the hashtag "Drop the Mic," a parody of the BTS' song "Mic Drop." Of course, the seven-member group, comprised of V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, and J-Hope, noticed his tweet and retweeted it with different kinds of emojis.
BTS might be speechless for the love that they are receiving, surprisingly, from John Cena. In fact, he let others see how big of a fan he is. The moment that "Mic Drop" was played live on television at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2018, he danced along with other dancers on stage. He even said, "Love you, guys," if the group was watching at the time.

He, too, has been posting photos of the BTS members randomly on his Instagram account, although he is not putting any captions on it. He even revealed that J-Hope and Rap Monster are one of his favorites from the group.
As a matter of fact, in an interview with Metro while promoting his new movie, Blockers, he disclosed his favorite BTS tracks. "'Base Line' is my favorite track on the J-Hope mixtape. I also like 'Hangsang,' " he said.
Evidently, John Cena is now one of the ARMY. He even admitted that he is "very happy to say" that he is a part of it, in spite of what others might think. BTS has introduced him to a new kind of culture and this, too, makes him learn a lot of new things with the help of social media. Although his love for the group was just a "happy accident," he's thankful that it turned out to be "something wonderful."
