"Purple Rain" singer, Prince, attacked online ticket resellers for postponing the sale for his forthcoming UK tour, "Spotlight...Prince Piano & A Microphone."

It will be the songwriters' first ever piano tour.

Tickets were due to go on sale Friday, at 10 a.m. but sales were postponed less than an hour by ticket agency Ticketmaster, according to The Guardian.

Touts operated on an industrial scale on sites like Get Me In, Seatwave, Viagogo and StubHub, BBC reported.

"Looks like my mornings gone, nothing like sitting refreshing a computer screen...come on. we want tickets! #Prince," a fan wrote on Twitter.

Angry fans continued to vent out about the "Spotlight Tour" ticket sales. "Buying online concert tickets are the new slot machines...the more you play the more you lose!" said another Twitter user.

Prince is one of the most naturally gifted artists of all time, sources stated. He is said to be a perfectionist who is highly protective of his music. He plays most of the instruments on his album.

He has sold over 100 million records worldwide, and made him one of the best-selling artists of all time. He has seven Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe, and an Academy Award. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted him in 2004.

The "Purple Rain" star is scheduled to play at three venues. First stop, at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall of the London Theatre at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Nov. 27.

Prince will also perform at the Royal Drury Lane at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Nov. 29 and the Birmingham Symphony Hall at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Dec. 1,  reports the Independent.
