Katherine Heigl will be seen taking the center stage in Suits Season 8. It is recently announced that the State of Affairs and Grey's Anatomy actress Heigl would be added to the cast to play the role of Samantha. The 39-year old actress' character will be seen as a talented new partner at Pearson Specter Litt, who will further challenge the status quo.
Heigl's character will give new energy to the series
Recent rumors suggest that since Markle won't be seen on the screen after the airing of Suits Season 7 part B, Heigl will replace her to fill the void and complete the story. But that can't be possible for a matured television series like Suits, which has determined to show Rachel and Mike's happy ending after getting married.
Even a new update from Express gives a confirmation that Samantha, Heigl's character is being introduced simply to give a new energy to the series and its viewers. The series creators and producers feel that this is truly needed for everyone mainly after the exit of a few main characters.
The viewers will have to wait for Suits Season 8 to get to see Heigl as a new partner at the firm, as the production team has already wrapped up the filming for Season 7 part B. Even no premiere date for Season 8 has been announced, it is likely to hit the small screens during this year's summer.
Season 7 part B will start where it ended
The upcoming part B will start with the cliffhanging moments where it ended in the previous part. Donna (Sarah Rafferty) kissed her boss Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and both of them had nurtured an unspoken chemistry since long.
