BTS Quits Gramophone Media; 'Mic Drop' Singers Collaborate With Halsey
Eshy Gazit, the CEO for Gramophone Media revealed that BTS has finally ended their contract with his company. It seems like BTS has finally found a new path to take and unfortunately, they aren't continuing their journey with Gazit and his team.
According to a report by AllKPop, Eshy Gazit and the people behind Gramophone Media were proud to see how far BTS have come. But, along with the success of BTS, Gazit is also delighted to know that he's part of the band's progression and triumph.
"Allow me to thank once more the genius Mr. Bang, Big Hit and BTS for giving me and my company the historic opportunity of supporting BTS in the US for the past few years," Gazit wrote on Tumblr.
Gazit even revealed his excitement knowing that the younger generation is now ready to accept different kinds of music artists all over the world. He believes that the band's authenticity helped them reach success. The band's accomplishment only proves that the global industry is already representing both kinds of music from east and west artists.
During Gazit's writing, he unveiled that he believes that his job with BTS is already done. He also thanked his family, the label, army and all the supporters who made prosperity possible.
"I was able to connect the band with some of the biggest and most important artists of this century including The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Steve Aoki, Fallout boy, Desiigner and many others as well as A&R the remix of Mic Drop which broke records this year and became a gold record recently," Gazit reveals.
On the other side of the story, Hollywood Life reported that BTS and Halsey may or may not have collaborated because of what Gazit has written on Tumblr. Speculations are now making the rounds that Gazit made it possible for BTS and Halsey's collaboration.
As of this writing, BTS is yet to confirm if they are working on a collaboration with Halsey. Thus, readers are advised to take this with a grain of salt.
