‘Riverdale’ Season 2 Spoilers: Trailer Shows Veronica And Jughead In Love, Archie And Jughead’s Relationship Worsens

Just a few days left for the airing of Riverdale Season 2 episode 14 and avid viewers are excited for it. The previous episode no. 13 titled Chapter Twenty-Six: The Tell-Tale Heart ended on February 7 making the viewers flabbergasted that Hermione Lodge (Marisol Nichols) was the crime boss.

So far, in Riverdale Season 2, the viewers were made to believe that Veronica Lodge's (Camila Mendes) father, Hiram Lodge (Mark Consuelos) was the actual culprit. The viewers also believed that he was the one who was incessantly planning crime against the small town of Riverdale.

Archie has gotten into the darker path

Earlier, it was further revealed that Archie (KJ Apa) was never associated with the FBI. Instead, he was originally tested to prove his loyalty to the Lodges. When the viewers were shown that Hermione welcomed Archie, the episode ended. The spoilers for the upcoming episodes suggest that Archie will get more involved with the Lodges. In a conversation with Variety recently, series developer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said that Archie had commenced on a darker path in the first half of the season.

Veronica and Jughead are in love with each other

The trailer released for Riverdale Season 2 episode 14 gives hints about the burgeoning romance between Jughead (Cole Sprouse) and Veronica. In the footage, both are seen leaning towards each other for a kiss in front of Archie and Betty (Lily Reinhart). They are stunned seeing Veronica falling head over heels with Jughead. Also, the spoilers suggest the relationship between two former best friends, Archie and Jughead, is getting into a tricky situation. However, what will be the consequence of their friendship-turned-enmity is yet to be seen.

A black-hooded figure is noticed standing behind Veronica, which suggests that the new footage may indicate the return of Black Hood again. However, this is based on assumptions, hence the viewers should keep their eyes fixed on the episodes.
