The said track is the first song Suzy Bae recorded since she launched some songs for the While You Were Sleeping series.The ex-ladylove of Lee Min Ho admitted that she felt nervous about her return to the music scene. She even thanked her devoted fans for their unwavering support for her.

Few days after the release of "I'm In Love With Someone Else," Suzy Bae launched her mini album called "Faces of Love." Because of this, some fans could not help but speculate that the former sweetheart of Lee Min Ho might not welcome the idea of getting back together with the City Hunter actor. MYM Entertainment, Lee Min Ho's agency, debunked the rumors. "After checking with him, it is not true that he is back together with Suzy. It is also absolutely not true that they went on a date together," it stated in an official statement. JYP Entertainment, Suzy Bae's agency, also backed it up and said that these reports are fabricated.
