Tyga Still Communicates With Kylie Jenner, New Album Inspired By Split
Tyga finally breaks his silence and talks about the split from his high-profile relationship with Kylie Jenner. In an interview with Everyday Struggle with DJ Akademiks and Nadeska Alexis on Wednesday, Feb. 14, he revealed everything from his ex's new baby to his healing and how it helped him.
Tyga admitted that his break-up with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star in April 2017 tested him. After three months of being together and an on-and-off romance, he assured that there is no bad blood between them.
In fact, what he had been through even helped him to produce his new album, Kyoto. "I wouldn't have made this album," he said. The 28-year-old rapper continued to say that he needed God to test him and put him through the fire that will make him feel what he just felt.
The "Ayo" hitmaker explained that he had been through fire mentally and spiritually when his relationship with Kylie Jenner was over. However, being through all of that taught him a lot of lessons and made him realized how he wanted to spend his life for the next five or 10 years.
"I put my heart on the table in front of the world," he said.
When asked about Kylie Jenner's recent situation, Tyga simply explained that people get older. He added that his former lover and he now have a life of their own, and what they had was a relationship watched by everyone around the world.
As he also said that there is no bad blood between them, he revealed that they are still having constant communication. "We communicate here and there," he admitted.
Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner and Tyga's on-and-off relationship was confirmed to be over by a number of sources by People in April. An insider revealed that the former couple used to take a little break from their romance and get back again together.
Although everyone thought that they were going to work things out at the time, things between them were definitely over.
Kylie Jenner is now with Travis Scott and recently gave birth to a baby girl named Stormi earlier this month.
