Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) Leaked Renders Reveal Infinity Display And More
Samsung is expected to unveil the 2018 version of its Galaxy A series soon. The lineup is said to include the Galaxy A3 (2018), Galaxy A5 (2018), and the Galaxy A7 (2018) smartphones. The design of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) may have just been leaked through its case renders, which are come from UK retailer Mobile Fun which is taking pre-orders for the Galaxy A5 (2018) cases.
UK retailer Mobile Fun has already started taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018)'s cases from the manufacturer Olixar. According to the earlier leaks, the images from the product listings on the retailer's website reveals that the Galaxy A5 (2018) will boast an Infinity Display. The smartphone will feature an all-screen fascia, and its fingerprint sensor will be embedded right below the rear camera setup, as reported by 91Mobiles.
According to Sam Mobile, the leaked case renders of Galaxy A5 (2018) give a good look at the possible design. The major change in the upcoming Galaxy A5 (2018) would be on the front as the smartphone is seen with an edge-to-edge display and no Home button. The Galaxy A5 (2018) has been rumored quite widely to feature Infinity Display like the Galaxy S8. The smartphone is said to be powered by Samsung's own Exynos 7885 SoC or Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660, which will be paired with 4GB of RAM.
According to the leaked renders, the volume rocker and power button are placed at the left side with another button on the right which could possibly be the Bixby button. The Galaxy A5 (2018) has also rumored to continue with the glass and metal design.
The smartphone has also cleared the FCC certification recently, which hints at an imminent launch. Going by Samsung's schedule, the Galaxy A5 (2018) and Galaxy A7 (2018) should be revealed by the beginning of 2018.
