Gigi Hadid And Kendall Jenner's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Reveals Former Auditioning Thrice!
Best friends Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner made their debut as the new Victoria's Secret models in New York on Tuesday.
It's the 20th year for the star-studded Victoria's Secret fashion show that features bright, sparkling and glitzy lingerie creations. For this year, two famous models Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner recently got to join the "most popular" girls in the runway, according to Vanity Fair.
The new Victoria's Secret models strutted the runway twice looking relaxed in their lingerie out in a cheering crowd of celebrities and seemed to fit right in as the new faces of the brand along with the official Angels, sources said.
Gigi Hadid was dressed as a fireman with red sports bra with a "Pink" label embellished on it for her first appearance where she danced along with Selena Gomez on the runway. For her second outfit, she wore a butterfly-inspired outfit paired with feathered shoes.
On the other hand, Kendall Jenner's first outfit was a laced-up corset with a peacock-inspired billowing skirt and a bejeweled pale blue bra with see-through long sleeves, according to Daily Mail.
It is a dream come true for Gigi Hadid to walk in a Victoria's Secret fashion show as it was recently revealed by her mom, Yolanda Foster, that it wasn't her first audition for the brand. "I still get emotional thinking about it," she told E Online.
"I've seen it 100 times and every time I see it, I start crying because I know it is something that she wanted so much and she worked so hard to get," she said at the event. "She's only 20 years old. She tried out twice and didn't get it and to get it the third time, it was just so special," she continued.
Kendall Jenner's parents Caitlyn and Kris are there at the event to give their full support which was their first meeting since Caitlyn's decision to under gender reassignment, according to Daily Mail.
The full Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will air on Dec.8, 10 pm on CBS, according to People.
