YG Survival Program “MIXNINE” Features the Next IU, Suzy, T.O.P Hopefuls Among the First 79 Trainees

The upcoming JTBC program titled "MIXNINE" has revealed the first set of trainees. On October 22, the YouTube channel of YG Entertainment uploaded another preview of the survival program, which features aspiring K-pop stars who are lookalikes of singer IU, Suzy, and BIGBANG's T.O.P.

According to Soompi, the names of the trainees who will be appearing on the first episode of "MIXNINE" was released on October 24. The first 79 trainees are from 14 different agencies including Star Empire Entertainment, ONO Entertainment, JD Entertainment, ELEVEN9 Entertainment, FAVE Entertainment, A100 Entertainment, Bace Camp Entertainment, Brave Entertainment, FM Entertainment, Yama & Hotchicks Entertainment, Staro Entertainment, K-Tigers Entertainment, Banana Culture Entertainment, and Liveworks Company.

Among the "MIXNINE" trainees, three got the attention of the judges and netizens for their resemblance with famous artists. According to All K-Pop, two female hopefuls look like singer IU and Suzy, while one male trainee sounds like T.O.P. This also made viewers anticipate on the three's talents and would-be performance on the survival program.

Furthermore, the profile images and 30-second audition clips of the trainees were also revealed. Additionally, fans can vote for nine trainees per day through the "MIXNINE" website until October 27 at 6 p.m. KST. The female and male trainees who have the most votes will have their behind-the-scenes videos of their auditions revealed to the public.

The first ten female trainees are the following: Kang Si Hyun (Star Empire Entertainment), Kang Ji Soo (JD Entertainment), Kim Bo Ra (ONO Entertainment), Kim Bo Won (FAVE Entertainment), Kim So Yeon (ELEVEN9 Entertainment), Kim So Young (JD Entertainment), Kim Soo Bin (ONO Entertainment), Kim Soo Ah (A100 Entertainment), Kim Young Eun (Brave Entertainment), and Kim Yoon Ji (Star Empire Entertainment).

On the other hand, the first ten male trainees are the following: Kim Do Hyun (ONO Entertainment), Kim Sang Yeon (FM Entertainment), Kim Sang Won (Staro Entertainment), Kim Young Woong (K-Tigers Entertainment), Kim Young Hoon (Staro Entertainment), Kim Yong Hyun (Liveworks Company), Kim Jung Kyu (ONO Entertainment), Kim Tae Young (Staro Entertainment), Moon Jae Yoon (Liveworks Company), and Park Sung Hyun (Staro Entertainment). Moreover, the first episode of "MIXNINE" will air on October 29. In the meantime, watch the IU, Suzy, and T.O.P. hopefuls on the latest preview below.
